Product Description
The POE-8/R10 panel is a passive device designed to add PoE power in twisted-pair cables running to end devices. Normally, the twisted-pair cable uses wires 1, 2, 3 and 6 for data transmission The PoE panel adds power supply voltage on the remaining wires 4, 5(+); 7, 8(-). There are two rows of RJ-45 sockets on the front of the panel, and the panel is capable of adding power to 8 PoE devices. The POE-8/R10 is a passive device. The set has overload protection (polymer fuses on each output protect the installation: the power supply is disconnected when high current flow is prolonged) and short circuit protection. There is a green LED on the front panel to indicate proper operation.
