The TL-MERC-AC12 router broadcasts 2 separate wireless networks, in the 5 GHz band at 867 Mbps and in the 2.4 GHz band at 300 Mbps This allows you to use everyday, less demanding applications, such as email and web browsing, over a connection in the 2.4 GHz while using the 5 GHz band for more demanding, latency-sensitive applications such as HD video streaming or online gaming
