STAM-1 P is a basic telephone card, which is a part of the STAM-1 and STAM-2 monitoring stations. 15 expansion cards of different types (telephone, Ethernet) and GSM modules can be attached to the STAM-1 P basic card.

The device is a complete receiver of data sent by control panels via telephone lines. It allows the organization of a surveillance center monitoring the status of connected alarm systems. STAM-1 P can be installed in the PCI slot of any PC, from which only the power supply is taken.

It is possible to use other hardware solutions, such as installing the cards in a STAM-BOX enclosure or in a monitoring station system with a built-in STAM-IRS microserver. Communication with a PC is via RS-232 port (DB-9 connector). Each telephone card is equipped with an RJ-11 socket for connecting one telephone line, which is equivalent to assigning one telephone number to the monitoring station. In addition, the device is equipped with a mini-jack socket giving the possibility of eavesdropping on a given telephone line using headphones or speakers.

The module supports more than a dozen transmission formats, automatically recognizing and adjusting to the received signal. The amount of data received by the card is unlimited, and its correctness is continuously checked. The card has a memory of 250 last received signals.
The correctness of STAM-1 P operation is supervised by the functions of automatic diagnostics and detection of damage to the connected telephone line.
