Product Description
A set of lashings for making the third lashing level for multi-element constructions made of MK-1.5 segmentsThe lashings are designed for installation between the 10th and 11th lattice elements
Kit contents:
Joining procedure:
1. bolt the flange between 2 sections of the MK-1.5 mast (between the 10th and 11th lattice element).
2. through the mounting hole in the collar we put a shackle with a shackle shank towards the mast
3. to the shackle attach the lashing rope with the forged end (where the caoutchouc is rigged)
4) Put the free end of the rope (the one without the cauchy) through the cauchy placed on the turnbuckle
5. the free end of the turnbuckle is anchored through the eye to the foundation (the fastener depends on the anchoring - on the customer side)
6. choose the slack in the rope, put on 3 rope clamps and tighten themWhen doing this, remember to pull the first clamp "loosely" as close to the caoutchouc as possible - so that the rope adheres nicely around the perimeter and only tighten. If you do not pick up the slack, the rope may slip off the thimble and the joint will not work properly, or in the long run the rope will wear.Move the clamps about 30cm away from each other, and cut or buck the remaining rope reserve - as it may come in handy when changing or moving mast anchor points
7. we finish the procedure by selecting the remaining slack with a turnbuckle to slightly tension the rope (about 100kg of force maximum)Significantly exceeding the tension of the rope may lead to deformation of the mast foot (steel triangle), or break the threads on the steel hooks/anchors in the foundation
The set was designed with a correction for long-term rope corrosion - the breaking force for the new set is 800kg per rope
