PROTECT-218 is a mobile recorder designed for use in coaches, city buses, buses, streetcars, subways, company and passenger vehicles and special vehicles, i.e. trucks, police cars, prison or military vehicles, ambulances. The device is specially designed to exhibit increased resistance to vibration and shock The recorder supports a 2.5" drive with a capacity of up to 2 TB. The PROTECT-218's power cables are connected to the battery and ignition (analogous to a radio) so that when the ignition is turned, the device automatically starts recording audio-video. PROTECT-218 has 4 video inputs, 3 of which are equipped with standard M12 connectors, and one (the first) with a 10-pin connector.
