AXON-POE/PROF surge arrester
The device is designed to protect devices connected to a 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet network, powered remotely through unused pairs of wires The device incorporates 2 paths - the data path (lines 1-2, 3-6) and the power path (lines 4-5, 7-8) In order to increase the load capacity of the power path, line 4 is shorted with 5, and line 7 with 8
AXON-POE/PROF is an amplified version of the popular AXON-POE device The use of a shielded RJ-45 jack allows for shield continuity when using FTP twisted pair cable The shield of the jack is attached to ground
