AXON-POE-MULTINET surge protector
AXON-POE-MULTINET is a multi-channel device from AXON for surge protection of devices connected to a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet network and powered remotely using PoE technology.
Each of the 4 channels of the PoE Multi NetProtector contains 2 paths - the data path (lines 1-2, 3-6) and the power path (lines 4-5, 7-8) In order to increase the load capacity of the power path, line 4 is shorted with 5, and line 7 with 8
The use of shielded RJ-45 jack allows to maintain the continuity of the shield when using FTP twisted-pair cable The shield of the jack is connected to the ground The condition for proper operation of AXON-POE-MULTINET is to connect it to a working ground or PE protective wire
