FLX-S-ST - FlipX Standard indoor motion sensor
FLX-S-ST is part of the FlipX Standard series, OPTEX's latest indoor detector, featuring an innovative pyroelement that is new to the market and provides high reliability and accuracy. The detector's distinguishing feature is its unique adaptability to the human silhouette and greater precision in distinguishing persons from false excitations caused by small animals. Equipped with a rotating lens, FlipX detectors allow easy switching between a wide and narrow detection area, which means twice as much use for one product. The device is an excellent choice for standard intruder detection applications for residential and light commercial properties.

Rotating spherical lens
FlipX Standard detectors feature an innovative solution to save time and money - a rotating lens. The detector's factory setting is a wide detection area. However, simply remove the cover and rotate the lens 180 degrees to get a completely different narrow detection area designed to protect corridors, windows and many other locations.
The specially developed spherical lens ensures precise focusing of each incident ray on the pyroelectric elements. The advanced lens design ensures consistency across the entire detection area, significantly reducing the probability of failing to detect an intruder.
SMDA algorithm
All FlipX models are equipped with digitally assisted signal recognition technology referred to as "SMDA." The highly developed detection technology allows the detector to recognize false excitations caused by shadows, temperature changes or bright lights common in enclosed spaces. Thanks to an enhanced digital algorithm, you can be sure that such common phenomena will not trigger an alarm. The model also offers built-in features specific to outdoor detectors, making it more robust and durable for everyday indoor detection applications.
