AXON-VIDEO-TWIST is designed for surge protection of analog cameras and DVRs in CCTV systems using, twisted pair cable for video signal transmission. The device is an extended protection element containing a two-stage protection. The first stage uses high-current gas elements, limits overvoltages occurring between the transmission line and PE, and discharges the interference charge to ground. The second stage contains high-speed semiconductor elements that eliminate overvoltages that may occur between wires in the transmission line.
