The automation module, also called ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch), is used to automatically switch the power supply between the electric grid and the generator. In the event of a power outage or voltage drop in the electrical grid, the module starts the generator and switches to power from the generator. When the mains power returns, it switches to the mains power track and the genset is turned off.
