External cassette of the EURA VDA-15A5 V.2 ''2EASY'' video intercom

The outdoor cassette VDA-15A5 v.2 is a multi-family videophone "EURA 2 EASY", equipped with a numeric keypad used to call a specific tenant or user entry to the property by means of an access password. In addition, the cassette is equipped with a proximity card reader, which is also used to open the entrance to the property. Just above the card reader is a color LCD screen with a resolution of 320x240 pixels. A color camera with a CCD image sensor was used to transmit the video signal, observation at dusk is aided by a set of 4 white light LEDs. The VDA-15A5 v.2 cassette is designed for flush mounting.Characteristics of the external cassette:

Visitors can call a specific tenant by dialing the premises number from the numeric keypad. The tenant number can be easily found on the cassette's color LCD screen. If you press the two-key sequence "9#" in the standby mode of the cassette, the list of the building's tenants will be displayed, the list can be scrolled through using the "#" key alone, after which you can call a specific tenant from the currently displayed portion of the list using the keys "1" to "8". The tenant can enter the property using their own access password (4-digit PIN-code). First, press the "#" key in the cassette's standby mode, and then enter the 4 digits of the authorized access code from the keypad. The tenant can also enter the property using a magnetic proximity card. A maximum of 1000 user cards can control access to 1 property. Magnetic cards should be brought closer to the reader at a maximum distance of 3 cm.

Basic functions of the "EURA 2 EASY" system:

- easy and fast installation thanks to the use of simple connectors and DIP-switches,
- possibility to install more monitors within 1 premises (with the same user code),
- possibility to program a list of tenants' names in the monitor in order to facilitate the intercom function,
- possibility to answer a call using a stationary or cell phone.
