Product Description
FAST-MS1 mechanical splices enable permanent fiber connections to be made without the use of traditional optical splicers. Low attenuation, at 0.1 dB, is ensured by the advanced technology of positioning the fiber ends with V-shaped grooves. The optical gel present in the mechanical splicer nullifies the effects of imprecise cutting or a possible gap between the inserted fibers. The universal design of the mechanical splices makes it possible to splice optical fibers with diameters of 250 μm and 900 μm, and allows to make high-quality connections for multimode and single-mode optical fibers. Mechanical splices are suitable for connecting optical lines wherever welded connections, such as for connecting distribution cable to pigtails in building switches or for repairing damaged optical lines. Sold in a package of 5 pcs.
