The ED-40A3 motion sensor entry siren can be used to alert about the appearance of unwanted people in protected areas or to notify about the arrival of a person expected at the entrance. It is ideal for stores, warehouses, offices and workshops - especially wherever the monitoring person is at a distance from the protected area. The set consists of 2 elements: a transmitter and a receiver, so that monitoring of entrances can be done at a greater distance. When motion is detected near the monitored entrance, the transmitter immediately sends a radio signal to the receiver, after which the receiver generates sound. It is possible to choose one of 16 available chime melodies. The time delay between consecutive alarms of the transmitter is about 30 seconds, which excludes too frequent and "obtrusive" generation of an acoustic alarm, for example, when a larger group of people enters the building.Thanks to the use of a special coding system for the transmitter and receiver, it is possible to expand the set with other elements, without interfering with other products of the same brand that may be in the vicinity. The elements can be of the same type - that is, you can, for example, build a set with one receiver and several transmitters (to monitor several entrances from one place), or a set built with several receivers and one transmitter (to monitor one entrance from several places).
