The function of the electric strike is to block the entrance secured by it and to release it after supplying voltage to the electric strike coil. The electric strike can be controlled by an intercom system, video intercom system, access control system or a simple push button (so-called "bell"). The electric strike has been equipped with a special coil that allows to reduce current consumption during operation. This feature allows the electro-lock to be used in battery-backed control systems, where the current consumption of each device is extremely important. A short (momentary) electrical impulse is sufficient to open (unlock) the lock, which unlocks the electric strike. After passing through the door, the lock will go to the rest position. This is a convenient feature when handling the opening of the door by an outgoing person, where the opening button is at a distance from the lock. without fear of re-locking. It can be used with alarm systems, simple entry control systems, wireless door control systems, etc., where the door opening time is not adjustable. It is not recommended for control by a control system with adjustable opening time, where the set time to apply voltage to the door strike coil may be longer than the time to pass through the door. This will cause the electric door strike to unlock again and leave the entrance open. Without applying voltage - electric strike blocked. Applying voltage will unlock the electric door strike. A short electrical impulse is sufficient to unlock the electric strike - the electric strike remains in the unlocked position until the door/wicket is opened. After passing through the door, the electric strike will be locked.
