AXON-AIR/PROF designed to protect devices connected to a 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet network connected to each other via a four-pair cable routed outside the building The device is the first level of protection for overhead connections It protects each wire in the four-pair cable and dissipates the electrical charge to the ground The condition for proper operation of AXON-AIR/PROF is that it is connected to a working ground or PE protective conductor
AXON-AIR/PROF is a reinforced version of the popular AXON-AIR The metal housing guarantees higher resistance to all kinds of mechanical damage and provides shielding of the entire protection circuit The use of a shielded RJ-45 socket allows to maintain the continuity of the shield when using FTP twisted pair cable AXON-AIR/PROF can be used for surge protection of any transmission using signal connectors of RJ-45 type and working voltage not exceeding the maximum voltage of 150V
