Product Description
Arrester designed to protect devices connected to a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet network, including PoE-powered devices
The device incorporates 2 paths - the data path (lines 1-2, 3-6) and the power path (lines 4-5, 7-8) Both paths are protected by surge protection elements that dissipate the charge to ground and also protect the lines between each other within a pair of wires In order to increase the load capacity of the power path, line 4 is shorted to 5 and line 7 to 8
A prerequisite for proper operation of AXON-POE is to connect it to a working ground or PE protective conductor
