ESP-WROOM-32 radio communication module allows enriching projects built on the basis of various microcontrollers with wireless communication in the 2.4 GHz band. The device allows the use of Wi-Fi protocols (802.1 b/g/n), Bluetooth / Bluetooth LE and, if necessary, custom written by the user. The chip features two Xtensa® 32-bit LX6 microprocessors and an additional low-power auxiliary processor, which allows simple operations (e.g., transmission listen, timer, wake-up wait) to be performed without using the main processors. The controller's additional capabilities will also be helped by integrated 4 MB of Flash memory. The whole thing can be programmed via the corresponding USB -> UART 3.3V interface using the Arduino IDE or Eclipse IDE environment.
