ACU-220 uses the 868 MHz radio band, in which 4 channels are separated. Communication between ABAX 2 system components is encrypted (AES standard) and bidirectional - all transmissions are acknowledged. The controller is compatible with the INTEGRA, INTEGRA Plus and VERSA families of control panels (connection through the communication bus), allowing the alarm system to be expanded with wireless devices. It is also possible to work with other, any alarm control panels, automation controllers (when using programmable inputs and outputs of the module) or autonomously.

ACU-220 meets the high requirements of Grade 2 of the EN 50131 standard.

The advantage of the controller is its excellent transmission range, which can reach up to 2000 m in the open area - depending on the device cooperating with the controller and the conditions of their operation. Such good communication parameters have been achieved through the use of a modern radio system and diversification of antennas. Depending on the level of the received radio signal, the ACU-220 automatically selects the optimal antenna to be used to receive the transmission.

Configuration of the system settings is carried out in the ABAX 2 Soft program installed on the computer, which also has extensive diagnostic capabilities. When working with INTEGRA, INTEGRA Plus and VERSA control panels - configuration is done in the DLOADX program or with the help of the keypad. Changing the settings, as well as updating the software of the logged-in wireless devices is done via radio, without the need to disassemble them.
