The gauge has a spring-suspended measuring head, which is constructed in such a way that when the probe is pressed against the tested surface, it "slides" 2-3mm. This makes the measurement more accurate due to the more even pressure on the surface under test. The head also tilts a few degrees sideways, so you don't have to hold the meter "rigidly" applied to the sheet metal.

The seven-segment, four-digit LED display allows measurement in all conditions. The digits glow red on their own.

Power supply 2x alkaline battery R3 (AAA) "thin sticks". Thanks to the use of modern design, this meter is very economical. Two so-called "thin sticks" alkaline batteries are enough to power it. The solution of the power supply in the meter was reported to the UP of the Republic of Poland.

The measurement is presented on a seven-segment, four-digit LED display. The digits light up on their own. The measurement resolution is 10µm and the measurement range is 0µm to 1050µm. The meter has a zeroing function (calibration) - a zeroing plate is included. The meter automatically shuts off after one minute of inactivity, which saves battery power if the meter is left on. Operation of the meter is very intuitive. The device is entirely manufactured in Poland.
